Should U.S. Senator Roland Burris Resign
The nation's only African-American serving in the United States Senate is under a firestorm of controversy regarding details he left out of testimony in reference to his efforts to be appointed to Illinois second senate seat, which was vacated when Barack Obama became the 44th president of the United States. Burris' says this is much ado about nothing; politicians have called for the senator's head. What do you think?
Chicago's Parking Meter Debacle
What should be done about the Chicago's parking meter debacle?
Is Sen. Roland Burris a tainted man? The White press says yes.
Now that Roland Burris is the only African-American serving in the U.S. Senate the national press has been quick to say he remains a 'tainted' man because he was appointed by Gov. Rod Blagojevich who is now facing impeachment. Is this just a ploy to help return the U.S. Senate to an all-white club in 2010 or do you think Burris will be ineffective in the Senate?

Some have declared that the dark days of racism/white supremacy are over and that Blacks, Latinos, Asians and others can breath a sigh of relief that the hostile days against them are over. What do you think? Is racism dead or dying a slow death in the United States? How will President Obama's historic achievement 'trickle down' to everyday people of color or will it?
James Bond Would Be Proud
Not only did January 20th unveil the nation's new first family, but also President Barack Obama's presidential limo. Nicknamed "The Beast" it is a cross between a Cadillac, a tank, a missile silo and a hummer. Equipped with state of the art technology, the limo was made by General Motors. Now conspiracy theorists abound: Some think the car's nickname has a religious overtone ("mark of the beast"), while others simply see it as the coolest car ever for the coolest president ever. What do you think?
